Where is the origin of mackerel fish?

The production area of mackerel is distributed in the western part of the North Pacific, and China produces it in the East China Sea, Yellow Sea, and Bohai Sea. It is most famous in the sea area near Wenchangpu in Hainan in the South China Sea. The main fishing grounds include the waters off Zhoushan and Lianyungang, as well as the southern coast of Shandong. The spring flood season is from April to June, the autumn flood season is from July to October, and the peak season is from May to June.
