Salmon, also known as salmon, is one of the world's famous economic fish species

Mainly distributed in the northern Pacific and the northern regions of Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Wild salmon is found in the northern Atlantic and Pacific oceans, with the main production areas being Alaska and Canada in the United States. There are also small amounts of wild salmon in Russia and Japan.

Alaska and Canada have strict protection measures for salmon resources. The Alaska government requires ships fishing for salmon to have a special license, and only three months a year are allowed to go out to sea for fishing. There are also quota limits for fishing. The government organizes scientists to investigate and study various natural factors every year, then calculates the total allowable catch for the year, and distributes it to each ship. The total allowable catch per year is generally controlled between 1/7 to 1/8 of the total fish population to ensure the reproduction of salmon populations.
